SELEUKID KINGS. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. AE (Bronze, 25 mm, 19.35 g, 12 h), uncertain mint 83, possibly in Cilicia or Northern Syria. Head of a lion with long mane to left. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ] - ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟ[Υ] / ΣΩΤΗΡΟ[Σ] Head of a boar to right; in field to left, monogram. HGC 9, 823. SC 1660d. Very rare. Minor deposits and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
